SEATTLE — A man suspected in the violent robbery of rapper Macklemore's Capitol Hill home was arrested in Renton earlier this month and detectives now believe they've recovered stolen items from several high-profile celebrities.
On Wednesday, Aug. 27, detectives served a search warrant on a south Seattle jewelry store where they found multiple stolen item's from Macklemore's home and other homes that were recently burglarized.
The 29-year-old suspect was arrested Aug. 21 for a robbery warrant, separate from the crime at Macklemore's home. Detectives are expected to refer criminal charges to the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for the home invasion in the coming days.
