Oklahoma property owners who suffered earthquake damage between January 2019 and present day may qualify for compensation through recently reached class action settlements totaling $555,000.

The settlements stem from a lawsuit involving a 5.1 magnitude earthquake that struck near Prague , Oklahoma on February 2, 2024, along with other seismic events across the state during the specified time period. The legal action alleged that certain defendants operated wastewater disposal wells that contributed to causing these earthquakes .
