SCITUATE – With school beginning next Monday, Sept. 1, local students are learning the ABCs of how the 2025-2026 school year will shape up.

Supt. Laurie Andries says her goal for everyone is to embrace each challenge as an opportunity to grow, and acknowledge each success as a reason to celebrate.

“Classrooms will once again be bustling with curiosity, collaboration, and creativity,” she said.

Andries welcomes student and teachers back to school, and said she hopes during this new school year that students feel inspired, every educator feels supported, and the community continues to shine together.

“Whether it’s exploring new passions, discovering innovative learning opportunities, or building friendships that will last a lifetime, this year holds endless possibilities,” she said.
