Bergen Catholic left the field stunned with joy.
Both sides had trouble processing what they had just been involved in.
Bergen Catholic scored on a two-point conversion with 1 minute and 23 seconds left to beat the Flyers 22-21 in a Battle at the Beach matchup of national powers at Ocean City High School.
The two-point conversion came after Ohio State recruit Jordan Thomas blocked an East St. Louis punt and watched as teammate Amare Newell picked the ball up and raced 28 yards for a TD. The Flyers had been a first down away from clinching the game.
