CLINTON, Tenn. (WVLT) - Knoxville Catholic made a statement with a 28-7 win over Anderson County on Thursday to move to 2-0.

Tennesseee commit Tyreek King made six receptions for 123 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Anderson County quarterback JD Gillum exited the game midway through the third quarter following a sack. He did not return.

Catholic quarterback Mac Bartholomew threw for 287 yards and a touchdown, rushing for 70 more on the ground.

The Fighting Irish improve to 2-0, while Anderson County falls to 0-1.

Catholic hosts Lipscomb Academy in week three, while the Mavericks host Fulton to open region play.
