Vancouver Coastal Health has issued a warning regarding a potential Hepatitis A exposure at the Sea Monkey Coffee food truck in Gibsons.

People who ate food from the truck between August 1 and 25 are advised to monitor themselves for symptoms, which can manifest between two and seven weeks after exposure.

These symptoms include fatigue, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, and possibly jaundice, characterized by the yellowing of the skin and eyes.

The health authority has urged anyone with these symptoms to seek medical attention promptly.
