GRAND FORKS, ND

The Broesky family of Mitchell, Manitoba loaded up the minivan this morning for what they hoped would be a lovely afternoon outing in Grand Forks. Unfortunately for the Broeskys, they had to opt for an alternative dining experience.

“Oba, we drove all the way out here and Chick-fil-A is closed,” proclaimed Earl Broesky. “I’m not sure why they didn’t warn us at the border that we were wasting our time.”

Broesky had no idea such a major fast food chain would be closed on Sundays.

“Diewel! Back home in Manitoba, we make our local heathens and Lutherans work on Sundays,” said Broesky. “We’ve gotta have someplace to eat after church!”

Broesky said he’s never had trouble finding a place to eat after church back home in Canada.
