LEWISTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) -- A police incident led to road closures and evacuations in Mifflin County late Thursday and one person is in custody.

Lewistown Police said the incident happened in the first block of Chestnut Street.

The department said the incident involved evacuations and several street closures.

No injuries were reported and police said one person was taken into custody. Further information, they said, would be released later Friday.

Lewistown Police were assisted by the State Police at Lewistown, Mifflin County Regional Police, and Granville Township Police.
