PIERZ — Brayden Faust rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries for the Pierz Pioneers as they defeated the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters 42-12 in their season opener Thursday, Aug. 28.

Paul Nieman rushed for 127 yards and one touchdown while Liam Hennessey rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns.

Tyler Kimman collected two interceptions and returned one for a touchdown.Pierz will play the Foley Falcons at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5.
