MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Cell phone video obtained FOX13 appears to show Memphis Police (MPD) hitting a man on the ground while they were arresting him earlier this week.
Police said 26-year-old Richard Orellana crashed into an MPD cruiser Monday night near Manassas Street and Adams Avenue in the Medical District of Memphis. It happened around 8 p.m. that day.
In the cell phone footage, a large group of police officers surround a man. An officer — in the top left corner of the video — appears to hit the man several times.
