(WNDU) - This Thursday and Friday, schools and organizations across Michiana are picking up their donated backpacks following our 16 Pack-a-Backpack drive last month.

The annual drive allows WNDU 16 News Now and our community partners at Notre Dame Federal Credit Union, Goodwill and Meijer to raise money to support kids in Michiana as they prepare to start a new year of schooling.

We want to thank everyone who donated so these kids could have the needed supplies for the new school year.
