Sheffield United could field two new signings when they head to Teesside to take on Middlesbrough this weekend. The Blades are rooted to the bottom of the Championship table after a nightmare start - the complete opposite to Boro's impressive opening results.

Both clubs are under new head coaches, but while Rob Edwards has guided Middlesbrough to joint top with three wins from three in the league, Ruben Selles has seen his side lose all of their games.

The Blades have responded by signing veteran striker Danny Ings and defender Japhet Tanganga from Millwall as they look to turn their fortunes around. Both could start at the Riverside in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off, and Selles expects both to make an instant impression.
