INGLEWOOD – Quarterback Corin Berry threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score and running back JD Sanchez scored twice for Charter Oak in a 33-23 win over Upland in a nonleague football game Thursday night at SoFi Stadium.

Both teams produced lots of offense to entertain the large contingent of fans in attendance at the home for the NFL’s Rams and Chargers.

Charter Oak (2-0) finished with 330 yards (200 passing, 130 rushing), while the Scots (0-2) had 278 yards (168 passing, 110 rushing) for 608 total yards in the game.

Berry’s favorite target was senior receiver Antonio Reasby, who caught four passes for a game-high 139 yards and a touchdown. Sanchez ran for 49 yards on seven carries, while senior running back Tristan Taylor had 46 yards on six carries.
