Approximately 10,000 workers will be needed to harvest valley potatoes and sugar beets, Minnesota and North Dakota state employment service farm placement officials decided here Tuesday afternoon, August 27, 1951.

Growers again will be dependent upon Minnesota to supply a bulk of the migrant workers, according to T. O. Haga, Bismarck, North Dakota farm placement supervisor.
