A fight between two illegal vendors on the Coney Island boardwalk turned violent Tuesday night. Police say Maria Poaquiza, 36, got into an argument with a 42-year-old woman that escalated when Poaquiza allegedly punched her in the face, struck her with an umbrella and then slashed her arm with a knife. Photos show officers recovering the knife from the scene and placing Poaquiza under arrest. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
