Andrew Joseph Tubbs, a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, formerly of Mashpee and Falmouth, died on August 10, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He was 33.

Born in Falmouth, he was raised in Mashpee by his mother, Carmen L. Sterling, and father, Bruce J. King.

Known as the life of the party, he loved to learn and expand his knowledge.

A universal sports fan who participated in many sports, he idolized LeBron James, not only because of his abilities on the court, but because of the man he is. He also loved to play spades, poker, chess and anything that sparked his competitive nature.

He loved music, especially Drake, and being outdoors in nature.
