TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Arizona Educational Foundation has announced its top five finalists for the 2026 Arizona Teacher of the Year Award. Among these distinguished educators, three nominees hail from Southern Arizona.
Teresa Anthofer, an English teacher at Marana High School, Tiffani Jaseph, who works in special education at Copper View Elementary in Sahuarita, and Caitlin Reynolds, an agricultural education teacher at Flowing Wells High School, are recognized as "Ambassadors for Excellence."
The other nominees include teachers from Chandler and Tolleson. The winner will receive $15,000 and a paid trip to meet President Donald Trump at the White House.
The winner will be revealed at a ceremony on October 18.
