The summer holidays are coming to a close this weekend but there's still plenty of fun to be had in Hamilton and surrounding areas.

According to Environment Canada, there's a 30 per cent chance of showers on Friday with a high of 20 C. Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be sunny with highs of 22 C, 24 C and 24 C, respectively.

Never the 51st State — a play about a romantic tale of bravery and honour, defending Canada and Ukraine — is on at The Staircase Studio Theatre, 27 Dundurn St. on Friday and Saturday.
