Officers responded to a childcare facility Aug. 22 after receiving a third-party report about a man preventing a woman from exiting her car.

The suspect was no longer there when they arrived, and the woman explained that he is her ex-husband, and she had a protection order in place against him. She later came to the station showing proof of the civil order.

A warrant was subsequently issued for the arrest of the Cleveland man and officers arrested him without incident the following day at his brother’s home in Cleveland.

Fraud: SOM Center Road

A resident reported Aug. 20 that a check from his business account had been cashed and fraudulently deposited into an unknown account.
