Sun Valley Music Festival musicians conclude their summer season during an Aug. 21 concert featuring performances of Richard Strauss’ “Death and Transfiguration” and “Der Rosenkavalier.” The Music Festival welcomed countless guests to the Sun Valley Pavilion during the 41st iteration of its free annual concert series, held in July and August. Organizers in an announcement last week thanked musicians, staff, attendees and others for fueling this year’s festival. “The sounds of unforgettable performances, including symphonic masterpieces, solos by Festival musicians, and virtuosic concertos with amazing guest artists still echo through the Valley,” they stated. The Music Festival’s winter season will run March 19-21.
