MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man Memphis Police (MPD) described as a "known violent gang member" faces 38 weapons charges and a drug charge after a multi-agency bust.
MPD said officers of the multi-agency gang unit, working with the U.S. Marshals and federal probation officers, arrested Calvin Brisco.
MPD said authorities arrested Brisco at a home on Ericson Road on Tuesday. During that arrest, officers seized 16 firearms, including handguns, assault rifles, a revolver, and switches, devices that turn handguns into fully automatic weapons. Three of those guns were stolen, according to police. Most of those guns were found inside a black duffel bag in the garage attic.
