CORDOVA, Ill. (KWQC) - Crews in Cordova battled a house fire Friday morning.

According to fire officials, around 3:30 a.m. crews came to the 18000 block of River Road for a house fire.

When firefighters arrived officials said they saw the north side of the home nearly fully engulfed.

Crews were able to get the fire under control around 5 a.m., officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
