SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Sevierville Police are investigating after a lifeguard died at a Sevierville resort.

Friday morning, a spokesperson with the department confirmed to 6 News that a lifeguard died at The Resort at Governor's Crossing.

Although the department did not release details of the circumstances surrounding the incident, the spokesperson added that the lifeguard's body was taken for an autopsy.
