LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - Duck Donuts in Lynchburg has announced it has closed, effective at the end of business Thursday, August 28.

The owner of the franchise location, on Candlers Mountain Road, cites on social media “evolving strategic direction and broader business considerations.”

The post says, “Over the years, our Lynchburg location has had the privilege of serving the community with warm, made-to-order donuts and heartfelt hospitality. Your patronage, feedback, and support have been deeply appreciated. This decision was not made lightly.”

The owner continues:
