The DVLA has revoked hundreds of driving licences over fears their owners are no longer safe to be on the roads.

People were banned from the roads over sleep-related conditions, and fears there was a risk of them falling asleep at the wheel and causing a crash.

Hundreds more licence applications were refused for the same reasons.
