ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Authorities are set to provide updates on a crash that killed a South Carolina state trooper earlier this month.
The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. Friday.
Sheriff Leroy Ravenell is expected to give more details on the Aug. 10 crash that claimed the life of SCHP Trooper Dennis Ricks. Ricks was hit by a box truck after completing a traffic stop along Interstate 26, officials said.
He died three days later in a hospital.
