AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - Augusta's events this September are projected to generate millions and bring in over 100,000 visitors, Destination Augusta and the Augusta Sports Council announced Friday.

According to the organizations in a press release on Aug. 29, "at least $6,012,888 in total estimated economic impact (EEI)" is expected from the various meetings, reunions, sporting events set to take place September 2025.

Here are the following events the organizations examined: • Augusta's 2025 Arts in the Heart Festival, put on by the Greater Augusta Arts Council for Sept. 19-21, is projected to bring in 100,000 participants and bring in $1,872,998. • The 2025 Ironman 70.3 in Augusta, scheduled for Sept. 22-29, is estimated to see 6,500 people in attendance, with an estimated economic impa
