ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Detectives in Anne Arundel County are asking for the community's help after shots were fired in Glen Burnie on Thursday night.

Around 11:20 p.m. on Aug. 28, officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the 400 block of Kenilworth Court for reported shots fired.

Witnesses told officers that a group of teenagers was outside when a gun went off. They then took off running, and no one was hurt.

Investigators later learned that a person got out of a car near Elvaton Towne and Kenilworth Court and fired the two shots before driving away.

While canvassing the area, police observed that a projectile had damaged a home on Kenilworth Court. A shell casing was also found on Century Towne Road, near Kenilworth Court
