A contestant who secured £100,000 on The Chase has paid tribute to his team mate who tragically died before their episode was broadcast . Tim McCarthy, a headteacher from Greater Manchester, died aged 64 in July following a lengthy illness, but his episode only aired this week.
His team mate Lorcan paid tribute after they secured a share of the £100,000 prize each. Sharing a photo of them hugging after their win, Lorcan wrote: "Not bad for a day's work. Rest in peace Tim, my hero."
