GRAND RAPIDS, MI – There are few things that can match the wave of excitement that rushes through a stadium during the kickoff to start a high school football season, but Kenowa Hills produced another toe-meets-leather moment that stole the show in Week 1.

With the Knights knotted at 28 against Forest Hills Northern, junior kicker Riley Smith converted a 24-yard field in the final seconds of the fourth quarter to give Kenowa Hills a 31-28 road win over Huskies.
