Coronation Street fans were left delighted after a real-life married couple shared a scene together in a rare moment on the soap. ‌

Stars Joe Duttine and Sally Carman play Tim Metcalfe and Abi Webster on the ITV soap. Tim rocked up to the cobbles in 2013, while Abi made her debut in 2017. ‌

A romance eventually blossomed between Sally and Joe away from the soap, and during lockdown they decided to take their relationship to the next level by getting engaged. ‌
