TOWN OF RUSSELL, N.Y. (WWTI) - A 45-year-old Edwards man wanted for pending felony charges was arrested for alleged drug offenses.
New York State Police arrested Jesse Anson on Thursday, August 28 on a number of charges.
Around noon Thursday, state troopers responded to County Route 24 in the town of Russell to locate Anson, who had multiple pending felony charges. The State Police obtained consent to search the residence and found Anson hiding inside.
Anson was detained and searched, during which drug paraphernalia and narcotics were found on him. He was arrested and taken to the state police station in Gouverneur for processing and further questioning about other cases.
