FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — Foley Police Department officers have arrested a Gulf Shores man who allegedly sexually assaulted a person at Walmart.

According to an FPD news release, officers were called to the store on South McKenzie Street around 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, for the report.

The suspect, now identified as 23-year-old Jaheim Jamaal Williams, was "being assessed for job-related skills by a non-profit organization that works with individuals with mental deficiencies," according to police.

Officials said a Walmart employee witnessed the assault and stepped in to stop it.
