MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The City of Mobile has updated its trash and recycling schedule for the Labor Day holiday.

According to a city news release, roadside trash will not be picked up on Monday, Sept. 1, and there will not be a makeup day.

City recycling centers will also be closed for the holiday, according to officials.

Collection of household garbage is not expected to be affected, as it is not normally collected on Mondays.

City officials said that anyone with issues involving sanitation services can call 311.
