Retirement for the former Twinsburg schools superintendent ended after less than two months.
The Diocese of Cleveland’s Office of Catholic Education recently appointed Kathryn Powers as the next principal of Holy Name High School in Parma Heights. The high school is a co-educational school for students in ninth through 12th grades. More than 650 students are enrolled.
Powers had abruptly announced her retirement earlier this summer, effective July 1, citing personal reasons. She had been superintendent for 14 years in the Twinsburg district, which educates 4,000 students.
