The incredible moment a pod of dolphins were spotted swimming near Edinburgh was caught on camera.
The clip, which was shared on social media, shows the majestic creatures coming up out of the water in the Firth of Forth.
The mammals can usually be seen around Scotland until October, in the months when food is "most abundant".
Sharing the moment on social media, one person said: "An afternoon on the Firth of Forth."
It came during glorious weather conditions as Edinburgh was hit with a mini-heatwave over the course of August.
Back on August 18, we reported eFoil Scotland caught the moment Edinburgh watersports fans were joined by 'chatty' dolphins in the Forth.
They said: "It must be dolphin week.
"You can literally hear dolphin talk... That's how Sundays should be spent."
