KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — An incident involving a firearm led to the arrest of a 19-year-old in Knox County on Thursday afternoon.

Deputies from the Knox County Sheriff's Office responded to a call on Wessel Road, where a 17-year-old girl reported that Gaige Lewis, her ex-boyfriend, followed her home from school, entered her house with a gun, and threatened to shoot her.

Friends of the victim captured the incident on video, which they shared with deputies. Lewis fled the scene before authorities arrived, but was later found at a residence on Barclay Drive.

Lewis was taken into custody and booked into the Knox County Jail. Charges include intimidation with a deadly weapon, burglary while armed, and driving with a suspended license.
