WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — A chase that began in Vanderburgh County ended with a crash and an arrest in Warrick County on Friday afternoon.
The chase started when Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office deputies approached a theft suspect, prompting the individual to flee.
After the suspect fled from Vanderburgh County into Warrick County, stop sticks were deployed to deflate the suspect's tires, successfully ending the pursuit.
We're told a trooper and a deputy sustained foot injuries during the incident.
The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Warrick County Jail, but their identity was not immediately released.
Members of the Indiana State Police, Warrick County Sheriff's Office, and Chandler Police Department were at the scene.
