ROCKPORT, Ind. (WEVV) — The Mayor of one community in Spencer County is collecting letters to send to Indiana Governor Mike Braun regarding CenterPoint Energy bills.

Rockport Mayor Cathy Kirkpatrick says she's asking any interested Rockport residents to stop by City Hall between Sept. 1 - Sept. 5 and drop their letters off.

"In your letter, please explain how these costs are creating a hardship for you and your household," Mayor Kirkpatrick said.
