Mounties say they are investigating a “disturbing” string of assaults involving a BB gun being fired at pedestrians in Langford on Thursday night.
Police say they received four reports of BB guns being shot at people or buildings between 9:40 p.m. and 10:45 p.m.
The first report came in at 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of Alouette Drive and Glen Lake Road. In this incident, a man told police that he was shot by a BB gun while walking.
“The shot came from a passing vehicle carrying four male youths,” said West Shore RCMP in a release Friday.
Then, at 10 p.m., police say they received a report of a home being shot at with a BB gun round in the 2100 block of Bellamy Road, and this time a witness told police they saw a black SUV leaving the area shortly after.
Minutes later, at 10:04 p.m.
