WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio —

West Chester Township officials say they are continuing to investigate the recent cybersecurity incidents this month.

As a precaution, some technology used by the township has been taken offline and will not be restored until officials have greater confidence in their safety.

Officials did not give many specifics on the offline technology, but said affected systems do not include 911 calls or public safety systems.

Currently, West Chester Township’s priority is to secure their systems and restore their operations carefully.
