SARALAND, Ala. (WKRG) — The Saraland Spartans' fight song welcomes students every morning thanks to a new school project.

On the roads leading to two schools in the Saraland School District are rumble strips. As you drive over them, the school's fight song plays due to the vibrations from the strips.

"What better way to come in when you come into school every day, you hear the first part of the fight song," Saraland School District's Superintendent Brent Harrison said.

It'll be music to your ears if you drive the speed limit over the strips.

There is one on Spartan Drive leading to the high school, and another on Lil Spartan Drive leading to the Early Education Center.
