Greenville Theatre has completed its project to renovate its stage floor and orchestra pit.

The project, which took around a year to come to fruition, was funded by a $50,000 grant from Greenville Women Giving, $20,000 from the Daniel Mickel Foundation, $10,000 from the Rose Ball and a private contribution from Carl and Lynda Sykes.

“This stage floor has been something we’ve needed since the ‘60s,” said Max Quinlan, producing artistic director with Greenville Theatre. “It could not be more perfect timing to be able to do it in time to launch our 100th season.”

The theater also announced the final show of its 2025-26 season will be “Frozen,” which will run June 5-28, 2026. The musical is based off of Disney’s Academy Award-winning animated film.
