BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - THE NEXT 24 HOURS : We’ve had quite the contrast in weather across the state today, with a stalled front to our south. We’ve had nice breaks in the clouds north, which has allowed temps to warm into the middle 80s. Further south, however, it’s cloudy, with temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s. We could see a few isolated pop-up showers this evening due to the warmer conditions. However, the chances of any rain will quickly end after sunset, and we should be in good shape for the high school games this evening. Overnight lows will be in the middle to upper 60s.
