AUSTIN (KXAN) — Westlake and Prosper clash in a Class 6A top-25 matchup to kick off the 2025 Texas high school football season Friday, and you can watch all of the action live here and on KXAN+.

The Chaparrals, ranked No. 4 in the preseason Dave Campbell's Texas Football poll, meet the No. 22 Eagles at a neutral site, Crusader Stadium on the campus of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, to begin another quest to the state playoffs. The pregame show begins at 6:50 p.m. with the opening kick at 7 p.m.
