ROCHESTER, Minn.- AAA is projecting that major Minnesota roadways like I-94 are going to be a lot busier going into the Labor Day weekend.
The route from Eau Claire to Minneapolis is expected to be 43 percent more congested.
The service says for travelers across the country roads are expected to be at their busiest this weekend during the afternoons and early evenings, with Saturday being a peak travel time.
KIMT News 3 spoke with travelers setting out for vacation out of Rochester and many say they have exciting plans for the weekend ahead.
