HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Happy Friday evening everyone! After several weeks of mainly dry conditions, Mother Nature will be turning on the big faucet in the sky. I know most of you have outdoors plans for the Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately, it looks like you’ll have to factor in periods of showers and storms with your weekend plans.
While we did see some areas of drizzle earlier today, the bigger rain chances start arriving this evening with some strong to severe storms possible between 6pm and 11pm. The best chance of severe storms will be for areas west of Highway 183, or the western half of Nebraska to Northwest Kansas.
