COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Richland County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD) confirmed to WIS that the owner of a shooting range that neighbors say has been the source of stray bullets hitting their homes has been shut down.
RCSD says the owner closed the range off Lorick Road near Blythewood voluntarily as the department’s investigation continues.
Felecia Anderson, a homeowner in the View neighborhood, said her Saturday morning routine was abruptly interrupted when she heard what she describes as an explosion coming from her kitchen. She then discovered that a stray bullet came through her kitchen window right in front of where her husband was eating breakfast.
