Students can add unique flair to their school supplies this year using stencils and other materials at the Cahoon Museum of American Arts School Supply Decorating Party on Saturday, September 6, from 1 to 3 PM.

Young people can decorate their backpacks and create book covers with stencils inspired by artwork on view at the museum. Participants supply the backpack and books; the museum will supply materials to make book covers, stencils, paints and other decorations as well as light refreshments. The event is open to students of all ages and their caregivers.

The activity is included with museum admission. Registration is online.
