GREENE COUNTY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- 23 years ago, to the day, Audrey May Herron left work in Catskill, both she and her black 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee haven’t been seen since. Friends of the missing mother are still keeping the search alive.
“Hey, woman, I'm waiting for you to come. We got to take the girls to the mall.” Those are the words that Audrey’s friend Marie Parker would say to her friend, if she were still around. “She was just a really, really good mom, excellent friend.”
Audrey May Herron was last seen on August 29, 2002, leaving the Columbia Greene Long Term Health Care Facility, where she worked as a part-time nurse. The 31-year-old mother of three was reported missing by her family the next morning. “23 years is a long time. And every day it's like it happened yesterday,” said
